Resonance Strings Orchestra heads to Castlemaine

Following the success of the popular Quartzopolis concert in June, and performing the Nabucco Ouverture with the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra to a packed Ulumabarra Theatre, the Resonance Strings Orchestra is playing two concerts on Saturday 22nd November at the Castlemaine Town Hall.

  • Concert One – 2.00pm – includes (among other repertoire): Mendelssohn Octet in E-flat major, Op.20 – performed by The Flinders Quartet and Resonance tutor team, Respighi Ancient Airs and Dances: Suite No. 2 AND Apprenti Strings
  • Concert Two – 4.15pm – includes (among other repertoire): Deborah Cheetham Fraillon Bungaree performed by The Flinders Quartet, Gordon Kerry Bright Confusions performed by Resonance String Quartet, Vivaldi The Four Seasons, Autumn with Thomasina Challender solo violin AND Apprenti Strings.

Resonance Strings Orchestra is a recent Power-up grant recipient which is looking to grow and recruit new members for 2026 across all skill levels.
