21 Nov Curtains open on a new era for the Ulumbarra Foundation
The Ulumbarra Foundation Board will see some fresh faces in 2026. After 10 years on the board, and five as Chair, Carolyn Stanford – along with several other long-time board members Vicki Pearce, Marg Keech and Pip Johanson – stepped down at the 2025 AGM.
Following a year of careful succession planning, the new Chair Robin Bragg (pictured) leads a passionate and enthusiastic board comprising Michael McKern as Deputy Chair, Annette Toohey GAICD as Secretary and Brett Marchant as Treasurer, supported by Kristen Beever, Stephen Briggs, Liz Wilson, Nathan Scott, David Johnson and ex-officio member Julie Amos.
“Renewal is a strength, and with experienced directors like myself continuing to serve and support the new directors, the future is bright for Bendigo’s performing arts,” said Robin Bragg. Many retiring directors have also undertaken to remain connected.
“The Ulumbarra Foundation is the only not-for Profit foundation that raises money for the performing arts in central Victoria. I look forward to working with such a strong and effective board who will advance and grow the Foundation.”
