Connecting our community with arts experiences

The Cushion Concerts at the Capital Theatre, supported by our wonderful donor Helen Gobbe, connect our littlest people with wonderful arts experiences. A highlight this year was a visit from members of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, teaching pre-schoolers about music rhythms, various instruments and how to tell a story with music.

This year we supported Karen families to attend Arena Theatre’s Robot Song, and the Flying Fruit Fly Circus, thanks to the assistance of Bendigo Community Health Services. We also supported the training for the Children’s Choir in Opera Australia’s Barber of Seville, and ensured their families could attend
