Cirque Africa connects with the community

Thanks to the Ulumbarra Foundation and Bendigo Community Health Service, a group of wonderful families from the refugee community in Greater Bendigo attended the Cirque Africa performance on Sunday, 20 October at the Ulumbarra Theatre.

Cirque Africa is produced and directed by ‘Papa Africa’ aka Winston Ruddle and features the very best talent from across Africa. Audiences were fully immersed in traditional African culture while witnessing a hand-picked world-renowned African troupe. Ranging from acrobats to dancers, musicians to contortionists masterfully performing in this energetic two hour spectacle.

The families loved the performance. For all of them, this was their first opportunity to experience a show like this.
