Thanks to the generous support of the Holsworth Family, the Ulumbarra Foundation’s Holsworth Creative Arts Bursary will provide financial support to students in 2024 seeking assistance in developing their artistry and career in the creative arts. The scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Academy of Creative Arts at Bendigo South East College in 2024.

In 2023, three students received a Creative Arts scholarship. Nicholas said the grant has allowed him to participate in the College’s vocals program and pursue out-of-school guitar lessons; combining two streams of creativity. Gracie said the funds helped to pay for excursions, such as trips to see performances or galleries, and to focus on pursuing a love for drama. And Marli (above) took up additional dance classes at Miss Leonie’s Academy of Dance and has been being approved for apair of pointe shoes! A dream come true!
